“FARNHAM’S SEBASTIAN’S ACTION TRUST HIGHLIGHTED IN SPECTACULAR CHOIR CONCERT”
Hampshire and Surrey Hills Men’s Choir Announces Summer Concert in Support of Local Charity
Farnham, UK – The Hampshire and Surrey Hills Men’s Choir is pleased to announce their upcoming summer concert, to be held on June 28th at St Thomas-on-The Bourne in Farnham. The concert will feature a variety of show tunes, well-known ballads, and songs, and all proceeds will go towards supporting the local charity, Sebastian’s Action Trust.
Sebastian’s Action Trust provides support for families with seriously ill children, offering emotional, practical, and social care throughout their journey. The charity also offers respite breaks for families at their specialist centre in Hampshire, providing much-needed support and fun activities.
In preparation for the concert, the choir recently held a “taster” rehearsal, inviting men interested in singing to join them for a free pint and pizza at the Hogsback Brewery in Tongham. As a result, over 15 new singers have joined the choir and are eagerly preparing for their debut performance at the summer concert.
Peter Viveash, Chairman of the choir, expressed his excitement for the upcoming concert, stating, “We are thrilled to present our summer concert in June. It is a wonderful combination of both new and established choir members, featuring new songs, and all in support of a fantastic local charity.”
The Summer Concert will take place on Saturday, June 28th at 7:30 p.m. at St Thomas-on-The Bourne Church, located at Frensham Road, Farnham GU9 8HA. Tickets are priced at £16 and can be purchased in advance through https://www.trybooking.com/uk/EVFE. Limited tickets will also be available at the door on the night of the concert.
