Leadership Strategist Anna Mosley Urges UK Firms to Equip Teams for Change as AI Disruption Grows
Last Updated on:
Anna Mosley, founder of Eighty™ and a sought-after leadership coach, is encouraging UK businesses to prioritise Change Intelligence across their organisations — warning that as AI adoption accelerates, those without resilient leadership may struggle to keep pace.
Having addressed senior leaders at both The Scottish Business Conference 2025 and The Recruitment Network’s CEO Huddle, Mosley is calling for greater investment in mental fitness and adaptive thinking as generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot continue to transform work environments.
Anna said: “In the current business climate of fast-paced tech advancements, Change Intelligence is an essential leadership metric for success that is too often overlooked.”
Working with fast-scaling companies around the world, Mosley helps business leaders elevate their emotional and change intelligence to deliver strong results and shape future-ready teams. Her work is already being implemented by global names such as ghd, Sacla, and Beauty Works.
Change Intelligence, or CQ, refers to a person’s ability to adapt constructively to unexpected shifts and pressure. Leaders with high CQ can remain calm during upheaval, inspire confidence, and create an environment where others feel safe and solutions-focused — even in uncertain times.
“People follow confidence, not chaos,” Mosley added. “The businesses that thrive will be the ones whose leaders remain calm in unknown, able to guide their teams through disruption, not around it.”
Her advice is backed by recent data from Microsoft’s 2025 Work Trend Index, which found 78% of UK employees are already utilising generative AI in their roles. Despite this uptake, a third of leaders admit their organisations are not adequately prepared for digital transformation. Mosley warns that without the right mindset, these changes could lead to greater stress, burnout, and falling productivity.
She’s also pushing for hiring practices to evolve, highlighting CQ as an essential quality for future recruits. “We screen for skills and experience, but how often are we asking: Can this person navigate uncertainty? Can they bounce back fast? Will they strengthen team culture in a crisis? CQ should be part of the recruitment conversation.”
With over ten years of experience in coaching and corporate development, Mosley’s frameworks are reshaping how organisations approach leadership in a rapidly shifting world.
