Recent figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed that 61% of the UK population cited environmental concerns as one of the most important issues facing the UK. Additionally, 73% cited the economy, 87% cited the state of the NHS, and an overwhelming 93% nominated the cost-of-living crisis as their number one concern. This crisis has exacerbated the struggles of households across the country, with middle-aged individuals accumulating debts, younger generations relying on family support, and the poorer resorting to extreme measures.
