Sekura.id and India’s Largest Mobile Network Operator, Jio, Join Forces to Enhance Mobile Identity Services

Sekura.id is proud to announce its strategic partnership with Jio, India’s largest telecom service provider, operating a nationwide LTE network covering all 22 telecom circles with 4G and 4G+ services across India, and 5G service in numerous cities, with 6G service on the horizon.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it extends the reach of Mobile Identity services to over 426 million customers. The partnership aims to bolster secure transactions and passwordless logins, prioritising customer protection and delivering a seamless, secure user experience across various use cases and industries.

Sekura.id is dedicated to enhancing customer experiences and bridging the gap in online identity verification. Through Mobile Identity, this partnership will empower hundreds of millions of Indian citizens to navigate the digital landscape safely and securely.

By establishing connections with more than 75 global operators in real-time, Sekura.id leverages the SIM cards in users’ mobile phones and its Sekura API Framework (SAFr) to offer Mobile Identity services. This extends beyond mobile login experiences, encompassing authentication, verification, and fraud prevention services.

Sekura.id is excited to introduce frictionless authentication and SMS OTP alternatives to such a vast customer subscriber base, furthering its mission of achieving “Identity for all by 2030.” With this collaboration, alongside existing partnerships with other Indian Mobile Network Operators, Sekura.id is steadily progressing towards providing 100% coverage in India.
