This Is Your Guide to Using White Label SEO

Last Updated on:

If you’re a small marketing company, it can be hard to offer your clients all the SEO services they need to get ahead in the digital space. White label SEO agencies provide the answer. The white label agency will do your customers’ SEO jobs, and then you can resell them to your customers under your own brand.

But how do you find a good white label SEO agency? First, figure out what services you’ll need from a white label agency, then talk to some different agencies to find one that’s a good fit. Choose an agency you can work with, and put in the work to strengthen that relationship and keep it strong.

Figure Out What Services You Need

Many SEO resellers turn to white label agencies for full SEO services, and that’s okay. If you don’t have any SEO experts on staff and don’t have the money, time, or inclination to hire any, then it makes sense to use a white label agency for all your SEO services.

However, if you already have some SEO people on staff, you could brainstorm with them what tasks could be best taken off their plates. Perhaps you could outsource the most time-consuming tasks, like link building and content creation, since the agency will have a large team to work on those and will be able to get them done faster as a result.

Talk to Some Different Agencies

The best way to find out whether a white label SEO agency is any good is to talk to them. Ask plenty of questions, like:

● How many years of experience does your company have running SEO campaigns?

● How many campaigns do you typically run at one time?

● What SEO tools do your people use?

● What process do you follow to improve website rankings?

● Can you share case studies and examples of previous work?

● Do you have references?

● What is your pricing structure?

● Do you have the capacity to take on all our clients’ requests?

● How and how often will we communicate about ongoing projects?

A good white label agency won’t use any black hat SEO tricks, like keyword stuffing, buying backlinks, or using hidden text and links on the page. Instead, they’ll use white hat best practices, like content marketing, link building, and keyword research.

Choose Someone You Can Work With

Of course, you’re going to be working closely with the agency you choose for hopefully a very long time, so you need to choose someone you can work with. Choose an agency that is transparent and honest about their processes and pricing structure. Don’t base the decision on price – you might not get the best service from an agency that is offering discounted rates. You want to work with an agency you can rely on to deliver good results. Take the opportunity to talk with agencies and ask if you can test products or services before you make a final decision.

Maintain a Strong Relationship

Building and maintaining a strong relationship with a white label SEO agency takes just as much effort as it does for any other relationship. Choose an agency that’s a good fit for your workload, communication, and customer service needs, and do what it takes to keep communication flowing between you. You want to be able to communicate effectively if anything comes up, and you want regular progress updates to pass onto the client.

Strong communication will be of the utmost importance when there is a customer service issue and you need to troubleshoot or provide assistance to one of your clients. Obviously, since you didn’t do the work, you can’t help troubleshoot it. You’re going to need to consult with the white label agency. You should choose an agency that is responsive to communication and customer service requests, because it’s much easier to build a strong business relationship if you have open communication about product issues and customer service complaints. Regular meetings can help keep communication moving both ways, and can help you keep projects moving along as they should.

Using white label SEO is pretty easy – much easier than hiring a whole bunch of new people to do the work in-house. You don’t need to expand your staff and take on all those costs. Outsource your customers’ SEO work with a good white label SEO agency. You’ll save time and money and still get to build your company’s reputation by offering a high-quality product under your own brand.
